An exhibition featuring the work of artistic couple Jimmie Arroyo of Tenafly, NJ and local painter Lacey Lewis. Both artist’s figurative works convey a sense of sexuality and dark drama, but each with a distinct style.
Lacey has been chosen for a Ruth Katzman Scholarship for one 4-week residency session at The League Residency at Vyt, which will occur this summer. The League Residency at Vyt fosters professional development for working artists. Hosting Open Studios, exhibitions and workshops, Vytlacil is an integral part of the Art Students League of New York's enduring mission to train great artists. Residents are given individual space to freely focus on their craft as well as ample opportunity to engage with a supportive society of artists and League staff who embody the creative spirit.
