Here's another place online where you can find figurative photographs that would be great to study from. I'm pretty sure I recognized some of them as being used by Mucha! It would be interesting to know where some of them originated.
These are so helpful in between life drawing sessions at Red Door Studios, great practice, and very fun. Sometimes my focus on long-term paintings and busy schedule make it hard to fit in lots of 'play' art time. But I can find half an hour to go through one of these videos while I enjoy some coffee!
I will be adding more of these free artist resources and online videos as I find them.
I recently found these YouTube videos on Facebook... They're put out by New Masters Academy and are 25-minute long videos with photos of life models that change every 1, 2, or 5 minutes. You could theoretically hit pause if you wanted to continue for longer. I really enjoyed hitting play and sketching from my sofa!! While this doesn't replace working from life, it's great practice for in between life drawing sessions.
They say that more videos will be added weekly. Enjoy!!
